About This Item
New York: William Morrow & Co., 1944. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Good Plus/Good. Roden's first novel features John Alden Knight, PR man for the wealthy Reynolds family which is leading an anti-gambling crusade; Inscribed by Roden on the fep; boards and text are clean, tight, with some spine lean; covers are foxed, pages slightly age-tanned; dustjacket is worn with some chipping and foxing at edges and spine. That said, description is worse than book's actual condition: not great but certainly presentable.
