About This Item
LONDON: MICHAEL JOSEPH, 1936 Brown Cloth boards with silver blocked titles, 200 x 135 mm approx. 406 pp First Edition 1936. The author was a very successful playwright particularly during the inter war years but also wrote a few novels. This one concerns a young playwright and his friendship with an older woman. His writing style makes for easy reading. Good no d/j (Book- moderated general shelf wear to cloth, no notable soiling. Front end papers starting- but sewing tapes and mull holding and binding quite sound. Curious pencil note to free end paper, no previous owner name or insc. No other notable defects). Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition.
