New York: Tower Books : Division of World Publishing Company , 1946. Volume T-226, Tower of Fiction Series. Originally published in 1944. The second book in a trilogy by the same author, including Young Lonigan, The Young Manhood of Studs Lonigan, and Judgement Day. Forest green cloth with black spine lettering, tangerine tinted top edge, 350 pages, color illustrated dustjacket. The book is in very good condition with corners gently bumped at top right, rear left covers, sound text block, good hinges, clean and pleasantly age-toned pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not corner clipped and is also in very good condition with a very slightly faded spine background, lightly rubbed corners and rear joint, two quarter to half inch chips upon alternate sides of the spinetip and rubbed extreme spine foot. . Sixth Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
