About This Item
Trade paperback edition, published by the Martha's Vineyard Museum, 2008. The diary and letters of 18 year old Union soldier from Martha's Vineyard, an island off the coast of Massachusetts. Starting in August 1862 and continuing until the end of the war. 29 pages with Index, Bibliography and Notes. Illustrated with several maps. The first flyleaf page has a wrinkly spot, probably a drop of water spot on that page, just a wrinkle mark on that one page. No writing on the text pages, no former ownership marks. Edges of the text block have a few age tanning spots. Binding is tight and square. No creases to the cover or spine. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
