Near fine. There is a small scuff on the cover. Exhibiton catalog for the Caterine Viviano Gallery at 42 East 57 st. in NY. Nov 6-25, 1961. The cover is a photograph of twisted wire spelling out the title. Uncommon. Kay (Katherine) Sage had an interesting life. In the 1930's she became an Surrealist and abstract artist in Paris and eventually married the artist Yves Tanguy with whom she returned to America in 1939. Independently wealthy she helped other artists escape the Nazis in Europe. In 1959 and 1960 she had operations on her eyes that left her with poor vision. Instead of painting she turned to small sculptures and collages of found objects which are shown in this gallery exhibition catalog.
