In good to very good condition. Blind tooled brown buckram boards with gilt titles to spine. Owners name to ffep otherwise clean. A collection of essays with christian ethics aimed at the Youth of the day and their conduct in society. The Essays discuss different characters namely: the Irreligious, the Infidel and Sceptical, the Immoral, the thoughtless and Credulous, the Intellectual, the Ignorant and uneducated, the Inquisitive and Curious, the Amiable and Moral, the Sensitive, the Almost Christian, the early backslider, and the Godly.
