Dallas: Somesuch Press, 1986. (6), (30)pp. One of 175 copies, signed by the printer and designer, Susan Acker, of the Feathered Serpent Press. A new edition of the nineteenth-century book on children's sports and games, Youthful Recreations, reproduced from a copy published by J. Johnson in Philadelphia and owned by noted miniature book collector and Press proprietor Stanley Marcus. The book has been reduced in size by one third, and typeset to reproduce the original punctuation and spacing. With a preface by Justin Schiller. Bound in blue leather, with a hand-colored plaque inset in the front cover depicting one of the illustrations in the book. Slight rubbing to spine ends, else fine. Housed in a blue paper-covered slipcase. (Bradbury, p. 281). (2 13/16 by 1 7/8; 71x48mm).
