Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1917. First edition. Made into the 1928 silent Western film "The Grip of the Yukon" starring Francis X. Bushman and Neil Hamilton. 8vo dusty rose cloth boards lettered in gilt on front and spine; front cover with snowshoes stamped in blind surrounded by snow-patterned design. Creases at spine ends otherwise near fine.
