About This Item
Brynner signed our hard cover copy of the play, "The King and I," with a printed black and white photograph of Brynner as the King with co-star, Deborah Kerr, on the cover. Brynner has signed in black ink in his large hand on the fifth free end paper, "Yul Brynner." The page is docketed in another hand, in pencil, at the top margin, "Yul Brynner - 3-21-77 New School, " indicating when and where he signed this copy. The actor, John Stewart, who played one of the princes also signed similarly docketed at the top of the page showing his signature. Gray cloth boards show some wear at spine and corners, otherwise very good. . Autograph

About Schulson Autographs
Fine and rare manuscript material and artworks have been offered by our company for forty years. Written descriptions accompany each piece, and we stand behind our items in perpetuity. Schulson Autographs is the continuation of David Schulson Autographs. Filled with art and history, Scrawl: An A-Z of Famous Doodles (Rizzoli 2019) is our coffee table book based on our family collection of illustrations in letters, written by Claudia, Caren and Todd Strauss-Schulson. Artworks from Scrawl were exhibited at the Grolier Club, Jan. through Feb, 2019, "Art in the Letter and Other Scrawls."
