Published by the Press of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, this is the first monograph on the pioneering contemporary New York dancer/choreographer Yvonne Rainer. It contains texts and notes on choreography (often reproduced in facsimile), and photographs documenting her performances between 1961 and 1973. An internally most handsome example of the uncommon 1974 first edition issued in lavender cloth lacking its dust jacket and showing some soiling and spotting along the edges of the textblock.
