About This Item
* Interesting 1959 Remaindered -library copy -Cornell Library -one of the 64 in a series of Works sponsored published by the Bollingen Foundation -this particular copy is revised -based on the second edition of Zen Buddhism and its influences on Japanese culture which was originally published in 1938. The book has some wonderful plates of woodcuts- some architectural features- Buddhist mixed in- some pencil marks throughout the book -could be erased- the library collection this came out of the owner was heavily interested in Zen / Buddhism / martial arts / other esoteric things- this was probably used as a study guide... beige cloth boards- black worn spine titling in gold- one loose page of a woodcut opposite the title page. Previous owner's name rubber-stamped in very small letters on top of the book there are numerous Library markings throughout most of which I've photographed book actually sounds worse than it is- the covers just a little bit more heavily used possibly. Pictures provided for your review additional questions can be answered via customer service phone or buyer messaging email mailed USPS Media Mail unless other arrangements made.
