This book gives details on four collections of more than 300 bird and mammal drawings made by the following explorers: The Forsters, Robert Jacob Gordon, Francis Masson, Anders Sparrman, Carl Peter Thunberg, William Paterson and Francois Levaillant. Warmly inscribed by the author, L. C. Rookmaaker, to Frank Bradlow, dated September 3, 1997.
