Publisher's printed wrappers with general soil; edge-chipping; two embossed early institutional stamps; early label and bookplate from same to verso of front wrap; good.
Rare late 19th-century promotional work providing the then-current economic climes of Paraguay's capital, Asunción. As the title informs, the work serves as a city directory with the addresses of major and minor commercial entities given. Further interspersed, are laws of trade, customs, and immigration and then a listing of the articles of rights as guaranteed by Paraguay's national Constitution.
