Paris: Grangé / Duchesne / Poirion, 1753. Very Good. Paris: Grangé / Duchesne / Poirion, 1750-1753. Eight volumes; 12mo (14.5cm.); near-uniformly bound in mottled calf, gilt spines with tan or brown gilt-lettered onlays, all edges marbled save those of Vol. V (edges stained red); thirty-one engraved plates signed in image by Rococo painter F. Boucher. Light scuffing to extremities, small loss at spine crown of Vol. V, else Very Good and sound, contents in just about fine condition, each volume collated and complete. Three early volumes with the contemporary ownership inscription of a Madame de Saint Simont, possibly Marie Gabrielle de Durfort, wife of Louis de Rouvroy, duc de Saint-Simon.
