This is the first book in the Oklahoma Horizons Series. This book delineates the history of the University from its start in Muskogee as the Presbyterian School for Creek Indian Girls in 1882, later moving to Tulsa as the Henry Kendall College, and finally in 1921 as the University of Tulsa still a Presbyterian School, but reliant more on private funding (oil) than church. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
