Binding tight, pp surprisingly supple, not brittle. Hebrew text. In own, custom-made slipcase (VG+). A rare survivor from pre-Holocaust Lithuania, formerly one of the main centres of Jewish learning and civilization. 164 pages in first section, then 74, a three page section at rear, there has been some professional restoration to page edges. then 76 in third and ; 4to (10 1/2" x 13") .
