Chicago and New York, USA: The Goldsmith Publishing Co., 1931. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. iv, 216pp. Missing frontis. Light red paper-over-boards w black lettering on cover and spine. Light bumping to bottom corners, head and tail, moderate bumping and light wear to top corners. Binding square, front hinge cracking. Small octavo. Originally published by Altemus and reprinted by both Goldsmith and Donohue. This Stratemeyer Syndicate series was written by Mildred A. Wirt Benson and Walter Karig. This is volume two of four and written by Benson who also wrote some of the early Nancy Drew titles (White, 2006).
