First Edition. 337 pages, frontis, illustrations, map, top edge gilt, minor edge wear, inscribed and signed presentation note from the author attached between the title page and frontis dated 1930. A leader of the Shoshoni, he was well acquainted with Bridger and Carson. He often was employed as a scout for the army. Howes H384, Luther High-Spot 41, "gives a good account of the activity of the Shoshoni allies in support of Crook.".
