Good (boards highly scuffed, smudged & rubbed; cloth spine & corners darkened, scuffed & rubbed w/ creasing; interior flaps scuffed & smudged w/ deep tear to side flap, upper flap missing. plates, sheets & packets have light tanning, scuffs & smudges; creasing to corners & edges; a few have tears to center, but remain attached; tears to edges; instances of foxing.). dark brown portfolio boards w/ light brown cloth spine & corners. approx 128 loose 17x19 bw plates, 19 13x15 bw sheets & 4 4pg packets. Majority of the larger plates are double sided, printed with architectural plans, building designs and material samples. There is full, color printed plate with various other plates with selective color highlighting. The smaller, 13x15s are from The Architect Detail Series and illustrated with a variety of internal and externial decorative molding designs. The four packets are introduction sheets to various series of the publication. The large plates are variously dated 1916 through 1922; this appears to be an assortment of editions, not necessarily from volume one of 1916. A scarce edition; a wonderful artificat with the architect, designer and builder.
