About This Item
Fullerton, California: The Hunt Wesson People. Staplebound. Good. Substantially scuffed covers with rub marks, age-toned text, still crisp. 13,3 x 20,4 cm., BW/color illustrations, 51 pages. Sans date but based on the production values (fonts and photo styling), publisher address (no zip code means prior to 1963), and culinary tastes (ingredients, techniques, and when international exotic references were still in vogue) most likely published mid-century (circa 1950s with 1960 my best guestimate also matches Sliker 16765). A particularly characteristically emblematic representative of the "little cookbook" genre. The Fullerton tomato cannery opened in 1934 and closed in 1996.
