"As leader of the NAACP for 15 years, Benjamin Hooks oversaw the organization's position on affirmative action and federal aid to the poorer neighborhoods of American cities. He particpated in dialogues with the governments of South Africa and in hundreds of domestic issues affecting minorities in the United States" (from the jacket flap). Fine in fine dust jacket with just a touch of minor wear.
