Bound in quarter off-white cloth and marbled paper boards. Deckled foredge and foot. Coth spine. Contains forty-eight letters. xvi, 499 pp. <br><br>CONDITION: Overall G only. External cover and spine shows significan wear. Label on spine has eroded with a 2.5" tear in the cloth backstrip, separating from the spine, revealing binder's waste, along with another 2 inch tear at the outer hinge. Inner hinges have cracked and binding is moderately fragile throughout, yet pagination appears complete. Leaves have lightly toned and are surprisingly bright. Some foxing and discoloration occasionally throughout. A readable copy with care. Full refund if not satisfied.

Recently rebound in half brown leather and marbled boards, gilt lettering with 4 raised bands on spine, 8vo, xvi, 499 pp., new maroon endpapers. Puckler-Muskau (1785-1871) was a German nobleman who served in the army fighting Napoleon, and later toured England and Ireland for several years. This book is an account of that tour. Old blindstamp and number on title page only marks in book, binding tight. Very light foxing first few pages. Covers clean with no wear. Book condition VG+.
