The hardbound cloth brown boards of this book are cosmetically worn and stained, the debossed title and bee decoration are no longer visible, and there is some warping to the rear board, but structurally it is still extremely solid. There is no wear along the top and bottom of the back strip or boards, and the corners remain sharp with minimal bumping. There is a small tear along the gutter of the rear board. in protecting the text block. Spine has a very slight slant with a gap to the green flower endpapers but the hinges are strong with the string binding tight. Text block solid and all pages firmly attached. Age tanning and foxing throughout. Previous owner name on front free endpaper. All interior pages are clean with no tears, cracks, or other previous owner marks.
