Contents clean, no inscriptions, a few small marks and some splashing to edges of text block, lightly used jacket with a couple of short edge tears. A very good copy. A modern day pirate adventure, set in the South-Seas. This title was proof read by Ambler's novelist friend Ian Fleming, who was given an advance copy by the chairman of William Heinemann for the purposes of review. The lower panel of the published book jacket features a long review by Ian Fleming for Ambler's previous novel 'The Night-Comers'. Gilbert D10, D14.
