Very good. 11 x 9 inches, glossy boards, very good, light soil to edges and text block, previous owner's name on pastedown (Turrie Chiavetta Jr., d. 2012, a sprint car racer from around here). 379 pp, illustrated mainly in b/w. Richter was a professional auto racer in Southern California in the 1930s and 1940s who then founded Bell Auto Parts and devoted his life to creating specialty safety products for auto and motorcycle sports, including the Bell helmet, which quickly became an essential and popular part of driving gear.
