Original 1833 (4th) edition/printing, quarter bound in medium brown leather and corner tips, marbled boards, gold lettering and bands on spine; 589pp + erratum on back of p.589, 8 foldout plates bound inside rear cover. CONDITION: Moderate rubbing on edges of spine and cover surfaces, tips of leather outer corners worn through; marbeled paper mostly worn through along lower edges, partly worn through on outer and upper edges; binding tight and square; old booklplate inside front cover, foxing on first few and last few pages; plates have no damage except #8 outer edge is worn where it sticks out a little further than the other pages; plates moderately foxed.
