Good. 8vo, in contemporary maroon cloth, gilt spines, does not appear to be publisher's bindings, but an early rebind Good with some scuffing, rubbing, small gouges, spines mellowed, contents very good, contents a bit tanned. 296 & 303 pp, illustrated.

Half Leather. 146x219mm, 2 vols, xxii, 296; xii, 303pp, full page plates, sketches and plans in text, frontis to each volume with tissue guards (both foxed), half marbled boards, sheep leather, title etc gilt on spine with gilt bands and decorations, slightly rubbed on extremities, text very clean, spine faded, lower hinge of volume 1 slightly cracked at top, very good overall.
