Pages with some tanning and foxing, particularly to endpapers. Minor pencil annotations to front pastedown and a previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Some marginalia. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy shelf wear with crushing to spine ends and rubbing and staining all over. Boards are slightly bowed.

Top corners of some pages have been trimmed a tiny bit, presumably to 'tidy' bent corners. Some toning to endpapers, and front pastedown has bookseller's rubber stamp, and their mini label at bottom edge. Rear endpaper split at joint, but very little movement. 22x14.5cms, in the original binding of navy cloth. Upper board ruled and titled in blind, spine titled in gilt. Joints rubbed, spine ends puckered with tiny splits and fraying. Faint mark to lower board, corners slightly scuffed and blunted. In very good used condition.
