New York: The Knickerbocker Press, 1930. 1930 First Edition. NEAR FINE. A crisp, clean and firmly bound copy. The only marking is a neatly penned inscription on the front free endpaper which reads, "Helen Gray Cone - Professor of English Literature at Hunter College - My teacher in Hunter." Pages near fine; green cloth hardcover, title gilt-stamped on front and spine, is lightly edge rubbed, otherwise fine. Binding and hinges firm, intact and straight. Over 70 verses by the noted poet and literary critic, Helen Gray Cone (1859-1934). Cone was New York City native. She spent her teaching career at Hunter College. 5-1/2 x 8". x + 147 pages. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket.

Cover corners are bumped and rubbed to boards, edges bumped and rubbed, water spots and scuffing to cover faces, wear to joints, spine ends are bent and fraying. Gilt top page edge. Small chips to front free endpaper. Interior lightly browning along edges, otherwise clean. Book in VG condition.. Gift Inscription By Author. Cloth. Very Good. Size: Approx. 5 1/2" x 8 1/4". Poems.
