Cincinnati, OH: Robert Clarke & Co., 1888. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, blue cloth boards stamped on front, gilt on spine. Exterior shows quite a bit of wear along with edge and corner bumps/fraying. Small hole about 2 inches down from the top as seen in the image showing the front cover. Front board and spine is dark blue but rear board is bright blue. Floral end pages in front and rear contain no handwriting or bookplates. Front hinge is cracked and front end page is brittle and cracked about 3" down from the top. Inscribed but not signed by the author on the frontispiece: " Presented by the author to Mrs. John A. Logan ----<cannot decipher>--- N. Arlington--- of their Bazaar. By ". The "by" portion is written by the printed signature. It is unknown if this is the famous Mrs. John A.
