Hardback octavo, dustjacket, very good condition (in very good dustjacket), black & white photos centre spread, edges lightly foxed (mainly top edge), pages lightly toned as usual, spine ends jacket little chipped (rear cover scuffed), minor edgewear, non-author written dedication title page. Heavy, and extra postage may be requested to destinations outside Australia. . 289 pp. The respected historian M. H. Ellis was commissioned by the coal mining company to celebrate its centenary. The aim was to include a short history of the coal mining industry in New South Wales. The manuscript was finished in 1959, but not published then because of rapid industry change, and was revised by the author in 1969 for publication. (No ISBN in the book.).
