Frontispiece portrait by John Butler Yeats. A multitalented woman, Jeanne Robert Foster was at times something of a muse to both Ezra Pound and Aleister Crowley. She co-edited the Transatlantic Review and was instrumental in the development and disposition of the great collections of literary lawyer John Quinn.
