George Sumner Weaver (1818-?), who at different times in his life was a farmer, teacher, lawyer, phrenologist, and minister. Weaver was described as "an industrious worker in the temperance, educational and woman equality and all reformatory and elevating movements; and in all his work has given constant witness to the inspiring help he has received from phrenology, and has been a constant advocate of its essential truthfulness."
