Some pages are slightly crumpled towards the spine from poor handling, there is the occasional grubbiness, and very occasionally foxing. The first page of each of the issues bound into this one volume has a stamp from a public library in Bombay stock there is no other annotations are found. In the second volume, Page 485 – 488 have been torn horizontally in half, as has page 491 page Saturday, December 2, 1882 has a full-page illustration of the Queen at Windsor Castle decorating officers and soldiers of the Egyptian campaign.
