London: The Book-Worm, 1869. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good+. J. Ph. Berjeau. 8vo. Pp. iv, 188, [6]. Illustrated throughout with Berjeau wood engravings. Half calf binding, green cloth boards, spine lettered in gilt, marbled endpapers and edges. All twelve 1869 issues bound with six preliminary title and contents pages, followed by six index and advertising pages. Cover edges rubbed, back hinge pinholes (see photos), leaves bright and crisp. News, book descriptions, auction reports, commentary and reviews of recent works mostly on early printing, with contributions by William Blades and J. H. Heffels. Fourth year of the review, in a new series "printed in old-face type in the best style of English typography.
