The Fortune Press, London., 1945 [i.e. 1965]. Second (unauthorized) edition. Octavo. pp [iv], 36. Plum-coloured buckram covers - more commonly found in brown buckram. About 500 copies were printed (the dustwrappers of 220 of these were apparently destroyed). This reissue is in larger format than the first edition. Thirty-one poems. An authorized edition was issued the following year by Faber & Faber with a specially written introduction by the author.Fine. No dustwrapper.

Slim 8vo. 36pp. A touch of wear to two or three extremities. Some production fault creasing to two text leaves. A very good copy. No dust wrapper. Bloomfield (2002) notes: "White laid paper watermarked: 'I Batchelor & Sons Ltd | HAND MADE'. Copies are also found with paper watermarked: '[crown] | Glastonbury' and with mixtures of both.
