Original blue publisher's cloth binding with color pictorial paste-on. Color pictorial endpapers of the man in the moon looking down on a town. Illustrated by Gruelle with full-page color frontispiece with seven full-page color plates and numerous black-and-white in-text illustrations throughout. 121, [1] pages. Owner leaf filled out in ink, dated 1923. Light bumping to spine ends, gilt on spine slightly faded, else quite beautiful: hinges firm, cloth bright.
