Wraps rubbed along edges with some minor scuffing; dark staining to front. Binding is sound and pages unmarked. A Very Good copy. Rare published account of London's "The Coming Crisis" lecture, a clarion call to socialism in which London predicts a worker's revolt and the downfall of capitalism in the near future. Includes the editor's notes on the lead-up and planning of the lecture, various news reports, and extended excerpts from London's talk. No copies in retail at time of this writing and only one appearance at auction in the last 70 years. Not in BAL or Woodbridge.
