Inscription of Lily Mackenzie, 31 Drummond Place, Edinburgh. Lily MacSween became the author's third wife in 1965 and this must have been written by her after that time. 292 pages. 2 maps. Many photographic illustrations including what are said to be "a unique set of pictures of Nepal". Described as an "absorbing journal of a year's travels in Europe, Africa, India, Burma and the Far East, a journey which the Author undertook to gather material for his forthcoming history of the Indian war effort".
