Marbled endpapers. Pages browned with light water stain to bottom third of prelims. Apart from these faults a clean volume.

An uncommonly well preserved copy, the text solid and extremely clean for this printing, the contemporary calf quite handsome though matured a bit, a little tender at the hinges.
