Dust jacket spine slightly darkened; 1/2" closed tear upper rear dust jacket edge mended with (now somewhat discolored) clear tape. Otherwise clean and tight.

Political and philosophical dialogue between two 20th century humanists, with thoughtful and reasoned discourse on the tangled world of the 1960s. Both men were eminent lawyers and discussed the pressing issues of the day. Signed and inscribed on the ffep by Ernst; inscription refers to voting in the June 23 Primary. Privately printed, 123 pages. Wear & small tears to jacket. Ernst, 1888-1976, was an attorney for the ACLU who promoted the right to privacy and freedom from censorship.
