There are also bumps and some chips present - the largest chip being a the bottom of the spine. Red cloth boards underneath are overall clean with only some minor spotting. Internal binding is good and text pages are tight, no other handwriting other than that from the author, no bookplates, no library markings etc. Both pastedowns and opposite end pages do show toning and foxing, partially due to reacting with the dust jacket paper over the decades.
