A book of poems on literary themes by Australian author. Four of the poems have been previously published in "Meanjin".

Sydney: Elizabethan Press, n.d.. First Edition. Hardcover : pp. (6) 7-32 : plain eps : salmon coloured boards lettered in black : INSCRIBED by Podger and dated 1957. Lacking dust wrapper; lower corners pushed; endpapers toned. The inscription reads, "To Bill, A cycle one must suffer to grow out of, and leave behind to be amused and entertained by. John pope. 4.12.57" We've catalogued so many poetry books inscribed to Queensland based poet and artist Billy Jones it's tempting to think this might be another. However, this was discovered languishing on a shelf and we have no idea whether or not it came from the Jones collection.
