No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting found. Pages are toned due to age and some foxing is present with the worst being the end pages and pastedowns.

DJ is scuffed and soiled with numerous chips and tears. Green cloth boards underneath show darkening along the edges as well as quite a bit of bumping to corners and edges. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues at boards though the end pages and pastedowns show quite a bit of toning and spotting/foxing. This appears to be limited to the blank pages as the text pages are okay. Inscribed and signed by the author to an acquaintance: "Dear Mrs.Voegeli (?); It has been nice knowing you! I am uncertain whether you will carry-on after reading this book - Ralph Seymour". The front end page also contains an inscription where Mrs. Voegeli present the book to Helen Bitterman.
