London: for B. And R. Crosby and Co, 1814. Octavo. 2nd edition considerably enlarged and improved. one volume in two. Engraved portrait frontispiece 480 through 902pp [1]pp. table and [13]pp. general index(though it is paginated [899]-901) Volume two contains the half-title. Contains 258 hand-colored engravings by Henderson and engraved by Bewick, bound in contemporary 3/4 red morocco over marbled paper covered boards, spines elaborately gilt lettered and decorated, outer joints appear to have been strengthened at some point, corners rounded, internally clean and bright with the exception of the index which has browning. A handsome copy.
