With gilt paneled boards, twin red leather spine labels, and full gilt decorations and raised banding to spines. Marbled endpapers and page edges. Gilt edge dentelles. In very good conditions. Spines lovely and bright. Some rubbing and handling marks to boards, notably on rear of vol.1. and front of vol.12. Vol.1 with small glue repair to minor crack at top front hinge. Bookplates to endpapers “E.S. Hett.” Bookplates themselves with some minor foxing. Some mild foxing to blank prelims. Some very small minor spots to main title pages. Inside pages all very clean, bright and tight throughout. Bindings all nice and tight. Else an excellent clean and tight set. 12 vols: 500pp per volume.
