Two folding maps and two other folding plates, all in good condition, with no tears but some foxing and a small piece of the margin of one of the maps missing. Although the book has been rebound (brown morocco over marbled boards), the edges have not been trimmed, with the result that the margins are ample. . 466p. Maps and folding plates. Includes a chapter on the Indians of North America, and another on the vocabulary of the Miami [Indian] language.
