Provenance: Pastor Gordon John Gerhardy (1933-2023), one of the contributing authors, with his signature on the front flyleaf. He was 'Vice-Principal of Senior Flierl Seminary, Logaweng', and he had been in New Guinea since 1966 (see page 657). Some ephemera is loosely inserted: a copy of Gerhardy's two-page 1979 Annual Report for the seminary; a colour photograph of a local woman and child; a postcard from a family member in Germany; a circular letter from the publisher to contributing authors; and a photocopy of a lengthy review of the book.
