Angling bookplate. Discoloration to the outer edges of the front and back covers, front end paper chipped on the edges. A good book only. .

Green cloth with black impressing, gold lettering.Top edge gilt. Corners bumped, scuff to lower rear board, dent in fore-edge, spine ends softened and torn, lettering on spine dulled. Hinges cracking internally. Pages browning a bit. Some pencil marks. Ink signature on a front endpaper.

A very nice-looking example from the 'Catskill Public Library' with a very old slip and diagonal 'Rules' paper inside the rear cover affixed to the page, age appears turn-of-the-century. Along with a presentation slip on the inside of the front cover, quite small and plain-looking, stencil inventory # on lower spine, well away from the title or publishers name. Contents and covers condition remains quite nice and near fine.
