Softback with stapled books generally in vg condition, especially for age; One book, Mrs Polly (as in Polly Parrot) has cover detached from book, and discrete mend to cover spine; Bottom of box good and solid, but slightly grubby to base; top a little rubbed at folds, and small splits at corners, but considering it is nearly 100 years old, really pretty good! ; Square 16mo 6" - 7" tall .

Each book has pictorial paperwraps, colour and two-tone illustrations. 2 of the volumes (Cackle and Polly) have small marks to covers, 1 volume has a couple of tiny edge tears to front cover. Books are otherwise bright and clean.Box is very worn, half of top of box missing.
